Johanna Hurwitz
is the award winning author of almost 70 popular books for
students from kindergarten through sixth grade. Her titles include RUSSELL
SPOUTS, BASEBALL FEVER, THE ADVENTURES OF ALI BABA BERNSTEIN and PEEWEE'S
TALE as well as several books of non fiction. She worked for many years as a
children's librarian and has also taught writing courses to would-be
children's book writers at Hofstra University and the University of Vermont.
She herself began writing as a youngster publishing her first work at the
age of 12 (although she'd written it two years earlier - it takes a long
time to find a publisher at any age!) Since then she has never stopped
writing. |
