Denise Trainor has been an educator for more than 35 years teaching kindergarten students through fifth grade. Denise was a classroom teacher, special educator, reading recovery teacher, adjunct professor of literacy, Literacy Coach and Staff Developer. She is currently a full time national consultant, and conducts workshops and coaching visits on all aspects of Reader's and Writer's Workshop aligned with TCRWP for regular education, special education and ESL grades K-5 teachers and administrators Denise has conducted countless literacy workshops for teachers in NewYork, New Jersey, Maryland andVirginia and has presented at various local, state and national reading conferences across the country.
