Barry
Lane is nationally known for his dynamite, hands-on
workshops on writing and revision and his popular writing

(Discover Writing Press) and his tape of original fairy
tale songs, "Lane's Recycled Fairy Tales"

Barry
has taught writing at the University of New Hampshire,
founded a literacy program in Vermont prisons, and has
served as a network leader for Vermont's statewide portfolio
assessment project.
Currently
he is a lecturer and consultant to teachers and students
throughout the United States and abroad.
Because of his wide range of experience as both a writer
and teacher, he brings a unique perspective that teachers
