Berit Gordon offers many years of experience teaching humanities-based classes at the secondary school level, focusing primarily on English, writing, and Spanish, as well as developing cross-curricular units with Social Studies departments. She currently teaches education courses at a NYC university. In addition, she has coached middle and high school teachers for the last ten years, working in English, Social Studies, and Foreign Language classrooms in and around New York City. Her workshops strive to provide practical strategies that teachers can easily implement in their classrooms, as well as modeling multiple ways for empowering teachers and their students to find success in the classroom.
