Bruce Peragallo has been in education for the last 31 years. He taught Health and Physical Education for 26 years in various different grade levels and school districts in New Jersey. Bruce was a K-12 Supervisor of Health and Physical Education for four years in the West Orange School District, West Orange NJ and is currently a Vice-Principal at a High School in NJ. He is also an adjunct professor instructing students who are currently student teaching. The class is entitled “Administration and Supervision in Health and Physical Education”. Bruce has been a member of the Core Curriculum Content Standards for Health and Physical Education Committee over the course of the last three revisions to the state standards. He has had the opportunity to work with the Educational Testing Service as a consultant with the Health and Physical Education Praxis Test as well as serving as the “Teacher In Residence” for the National Teaching Standards Board Certification program. Bruce has also been President (two terms) of the New Jersey Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance and has remained an active member of the Association for the last 27 years.
