Jeanne D'Haem, Ph.D. is a popular speaker and author. A successful administrator with twenty years of experience in special education, she served in urban and suburban districts in several states. In 2004 she joined the Department of Special Education and Counseling at an NJ University as an Assistant Professor. Her classes on managing challenging behavior are popular with both graduate and undergraduate students.
Dr. D’Haem is the author of two books, numerous stories and articles and she frequently consults with school districts. Her workshops are lively and fun because she doesn’t lecture teachers about what they should do- she demonstrates the techniques during the seminar so that participants can practice the skill and reflect on their own experiences.
