Dr.
Sam Goldstein is a clinical neuropsychologist,
a nationally certified school psychologist, and a member
at the faculty at the University of Utah.
He
has a private practice at the Neurology Leaning and
Behavior Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, and is on staff
at the Primary Children’s Medical Center and the University
Neuropsychiatric Institute.
Dr.Goldstein
has served as Chairman of the National Professional
Advisory Board for the organization Children and Adults
With Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD).
He
is a Senior Editor of the Journal of Attention Disorders
and is on the editorial boards of four journals, including
the Journal of Learning Disabilities.
Dr.
Goldstein’s publications include articles, guides, book
chapters, and 16 texts on subjects including genetic
and developmental disorders, depression, classroom consultation,
brain injury, learning disability, and attention deficit/hyperactivity
disorder.
With
Nancy Mather, Ph.D. he has completed a text for parents
on children’s learning problems and has completed a
teacher training text for children’s classroom problems.
With
Robert Brooks, Ph.D., he has authored the text, Raising
Resilient Children: Fostering Strength, Hope, and Optimism
in Your Child.
His
award winning video tapes dealing with attention disorder,
depression and education have inspired thousands of
parents and educators.
Dr.
Goldstein, a knowledgeable and entertaining speaker,
has lectured extensively on a national and international
basis over the past twenty-one years to thousands of
professionals and parents on a wide range of child developmental
topics.
