|
Tina Gordon, Ed.D. is a recently retired New Jersey educator with a doctorate from Rutgers University.
Prior to becoming a public school administrator with a specialty in curriculum, Dr. Gordon was a professional staff development consultant. Throughout her career, she has continued to present workshops, coach, and consult. Dr. Gordon has presented at NCTE, ASCD, New Jersey School Boards Association, New Jersey ASA Techspo, and many other state and national conferences.
Her work has been published in Education Week, The New York Times, The English Journal, NJEA Review, The Middle School Journal, and The Council Chronicle.
Dr. Gordon’s workshops on Differentiating Instruction are hands-on and practical. The strategies she presents can be implemented immediately and are supported by Carol Ann Tomlinson’s research.
One size definitely does not fit all and Dr. Gordon will demonstrate how to diagnose students’ knowledge, ability, and interest and then apply appropriate teaching strategies using methods that are effective for students and manageable for teachers.
