Robin Messing
has taught as a writer-in-residence for seven years in grades 3-12 for two arts organizations: New York State Poets-in-the-Schools and Teachers and Writers Collaborative. She taught middle school ELA and creative writing classes for ten years for the New York City Department of Education. Robin has been a literacy staff developer and coach for the past five years in New York City elementary and middle schools. She is presently a member of a Columbia Teachers' College Reading and Writing Project middle school coach group. In addition, Robin is a published poet and fiction writer.
